Pamela's Popular Topics:
Great Expectations~Testimony Part 1
Pam tells her "life story" humorously.  Have you had "great expectations" that have disappointed you? Life is what happens when we are planning other things!  Sometimes it surprises and confounds us! Pam breaks down our barriers and relates through humor how her expectations were dashed, but that there is hope, if we choose to put our trust in the right object.  Through a familiar fairytale, Pamela shows us that we often place our faith in the wrong things for security and happiness.  (Opening night at a retreat--35 minutes)
Living Happily Ever After~ Testimony Part 2 Psalm 62:1
In the second part of her testimony, Pamela shows us that Running away, Rationalizing and Resisting God's plan for us is never the answer.  Even though life often doesn't go as we planned, we can REST with confidence in a true Prince (the Prince of Peace)..Psalm 62:1 says, "I will rest in God alone."  Who are you trusting and resting in?  Do you want joy despite circumstances? Do you want assurance and security?  Pam challenges us to seek His Plan, not our own!  (Second message for a retreat; can be combined with part 1  for a single message event)
Hope for the Shipwrecked~ Hebrews 2:1
Have you ever capsized or been shipwrecked by the storms of life? Do you feel like the waves are filling your boat quicker than you can bail?  Are you looking for peace in the midst of the chaos?  Then you will need to know about the anchors of hope we can cling to that will hold us fast.  Pamela navigates us through rough waters as we call upon the Captain of our ship to take control and give us smooth sailing into His harbor.  It is only then that it can be "well with our soul".  (Makes a great third talk for a retreat; or works as a stand alone talk)
Pearls in the Making~ Jeremiah 29:11

Do you see the painful and difficult things of life only as irritating grains of sand that rub you the wrong way, or have you begun to realize that those hard times and difficult people can become "pearls in the making?" We can be bitter because of them or better despite them.  Becoming conformed to the image of Christ means removing the rough edges on our exterior and allowing the healing layers to transform our hearts as well.  Pam helps us to get a "higher perspective" so that we can see the Master Plan: "for I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope." Pearls are found in deep water..been in any lately? (Fourth message at a retreat...or a stand alone talk)

The Garden of Friendship~ I Samuel 23:16ff
What could be more satisfying and more needed today than friendship? It is like a garden: we prepare the soil, select the seeds, water, nourish and we even weed and prune it.  Sometimes our garden gets overrun by pests, attacked by blight and we wonder if all the work is really worth it..Friendship is a sweet gift, but like our garden, we must consult the Master Gardener to know how to care for it.  Does your garden have Sanguine Sunflowers, Choleric Roses, Phlegmatic Daisies, or Melancholy Bluebells? Each requires understanding, the right care and soil, some space and quiet, while others want to be right in the bold sunshine!  How does your garden grow? Pour a cup of tea, take off your sunbonnet, and let's share our hearts!  In time, we can harvest what we have sown! (Friendship teas, women's retreats, workshops)
Personality Workshop~Understanding Ourself and Others Psalm 139
Everyday the roads are filled with different people, heading different directions with different goals in mind.  Yet all of us drive fairly smoothly with few mishaps because we understand some common laws.  However, in relationships we seem to have a few more bumps and scrapes! We wish we could straighten out all those other folks..those same people want to tell us a thing or two! Whether it be a personal relationship or a professional one, Pamela will help us to understand and cope with our differences...we all need to get along with almost anybody!  (Great for workshops; MOPS, seminars and for businesses--Medical faculty, etc)
Lost in the Stars~ Getting Anchored in Truth Deut. 18:9ff
Pam's own personal involvement as a young wife in the occult (astrology)  is the basis for this talk. Looking for answers about the future, Pamela began dabbling with astrology at first, but quickly turned to charting her own horoscope.  In a very miraculous way, she was shown how wrong she was!  God walked out onto her "sea of confusion" and threw her a life preserver...Jesus says, "I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE.." (Jn. 14:6).  There is only ONE way to Him.  How can we spot counterfeits that cross our path? By KNOWING the REAL thing!  Don't get lost in the stars, consult the Creator, not the creation!  (Great for retreats, or used alone)
Gifts of Love to Last a Lifetime~ Related Scriptures
A Christmas themed message for everyone!  We can give gifts to those we love that won't break our budget, wear out, or go out of style: forgiveness, acceptance, encouragement, humor, honor and memories!  We should look beyond the tangible gifts we run to the mall to purchase and remember the original GIFT, the Christ child.  Want to give a gift that lasts a lifetime?  Come and stock up...do you love a sale?  How about a "free gift"?  God's free gift of His Son, allows us to be able to give others forgiveness, acceptance, encouragement, humor, honor and memories!  (A holiday message for all)
Building Bridges Between Hearts~ I Pet. 1:22
"Love one another deeply, from the HEART" I Pet 1:22....how do we do that?  It seems today in a "throw away society", we'd rather start over than work things out.  How do we build bridges and not walls?  By spanning the gap from one heart to another!  Whether it is a family member, a mate, a friend, we need to build bridges...and LOVE does build great bridges!   Brick by brick we intricately build walls until we no longer remember what the first brick was about...and then instead of throwing them all away, we keep them close by in case we need to hurl a few....    How do we span the gap?  If we choose, we can take them down...come and find out how!   (Retreats, single talk events)
The Balancing Beam--Various Scriptures
“The Balancing BEAM”—Keeping it in LINE—various scriptures
How can you maintain balance in life?  Ever wondered how to get it all done and still maintain equilibrium and sanity?  Everyone has doubts about what is truly worthy of our time!  Whether you are a young mother, business person, grandmother or friend, we all need to establish priorities and boundaries that are not only biblical, but practical and necessary.  Whomever told us we could “have it all” was delusional.  We can have alot..but at what price?  We can have all the “insanity, havoc, stress, and discord” or we can feel at peace with what God has called us to...COME and find out what that is for you! (Can be used alone, or as part of a retreat/conference)
